“I just can't stop looking at them and reliving the day! I love the mood you captured. You captured the exact vibe I could only dream of for my photos.
Thank you for making the day so smooth!”

— Laurie + Jozo

Girls and Guys.

I made rounds photographing guests during cocktail hour. Once one round was completed I would go back to the couches where the groom’s family resided during the entire hour. They moved themselves in cinematic fashion. Slowly a series began.

Laurie put the trail of her dress over her head and ask asked Jozo and I to bustle her up, but I don’t know how to bustle and Jozo didn’t know what bustle meant. Then we started dying laughing. I quickly laid on my back and pointed my camera upward. I knew the light would be shining through her lace, and arms would be framing her nicely. This is something that I could never ask someone to do because it would feel so unnatural. But in this moment, Laurie created her own pose.
That is how this photo was made.

In the evening there is feeling.
