It was very important to them that we got photos with their new pup.

I asked where they wanted to drive to next. In order to look at me while I was talking, Katie peaked under the rear view mirror and Peter over the windshield. It's the kind of quirkiness I love in photos but can never plan for.

Me, you, and everyone we know

Peter helped Katie change her shoes, and Katie was twisting her hair. This made for a good last few portraits before I left.

They asked if I could think of a non cheesy way to do a baby announcement photo of them. While I was walking around the house I spotted their ultrasound picture on their fridge. I asked them to just stand on the patio together, and then held my camera up against the wall, and shot at a higher aperture so Katie and Peter were clearly in frame as well.
