The Quirkiness I Can’t Plan For

The one photo that stuck out to me at the end of Katie and Peter’s wedding day was this one you see below. They just got a Jaguar and wanted to take portraits with it on their wedding day.

When they sat in the front seat, I asked where they wanted to drive to. In order to look at me while I was talking, Katie peaked under the rear view mirror and Peter over the windshield.

And this is exactly why having preconceived ideas and not working outside of them could limit ideas. Room should always be allowed for the candid and unplanned.

This is the kind of quirkiness I love in photos but can never plan for.
