A Photography Lesson From Peter Turnley

If you are a new photographer the idea of where or how to start can be overwhelming.

You just want to start.

Start creating work inspired by the photos you love.
Start creating photos of things you see.

But maybe you feel the barrier of knowledge. You don’t know how to use your camera. You don’t know how to photograph people inconspicuously on the street…

Do not worry. Creating what you want is attainable.

Peter Turnley’s words say it best.

Taken from the book French Kiss by Peter Turnley

Life itself will teach you how to shoot.

Try going out once a week with your camera and hit the streets for a bit. You will see how quickly you are able to learn and attain what you are hoping to achieve with your photography.
