Perezful's Untitled Wedding Photograph

I wanted to start a new series on here where I share a photo that - as the series itself is titled - caught me dead in my tracks. Once every couple of weeks there is a particular photo that I come across that has me lingering and wondering with questions.

This gave me the idea to start this series. In doing so I get to share with you a photo I love, while having reason to reach out to the photographer themselves and appease those questions.

This photo I came across is by
@Perezful, who is based in Italy.

Wedding photography to me is one of those beasts that is continually to be battled with. How can you take a photo that is new and unique to the couple and that day? One that cannot be interchanged with another wedding, not part of a trend, interesting, not a template?

This is one of those photos.

Nina’s few comments on the photo, in her own words:

”Sono attratta dalle mani sempre... mi colpiva il riflesso sull'automobile. Il risultato era quello che volevo: le mie aspettative erano più basse...mi è piaciuta tantissimo! Ciò che mi piace di più oltre al riflesso è il doppio gesto 'gemello'. La foto non è stata ritagliata.”

”I am always attracted to hands ... I was struck by the reflection on the car. The result was what I wanted: my expectations were lower ... I loved it! What I like most besides the reflection is the double 'twin' gesture.”

Hope that brings you a bit of inspiration for today!
